NORMQ
REGULATION (EU) 2023/1115 · EUDR
Companies placing certain cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya and wood commodities — and relevant derived products — on the EU market or exporting them may be subject to new due diligence, traceability and geolocation requirements under the EU Deforestation Regulation.

EUDR is an operational requirement, not simply a sustainability statement.
Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 requires Member States to establish effective, proportionate and dissuasive penalties for infringements. For legal persons, the Regulation provides that the maximum amount of fines must be at least 4% of the operator’s or trader’s total annual Union-wide turnover in the financial year preceding the fining decision.
The existence and amount of any sanction depend on the specific infringement, the circumstances of the case and the application of the relevant provisions.
Practical EUDR preparation without unnecessary complexity.
NORMQ focuses on the operational and documentary preparation of EUDR information: scope review, data mapping, supplier information, traceability structures and readiness documentation. We help companies organise the information and evidence required to identify gaps and prepare their EUDR workflow.
For relevant products, EUDR readiness requires companies to connect product information with suppliers, production origin, geolocation data and supporting evidence. Information scattered across emails, spreadsheets and supplier documents needs to become a structured and traceable due diligence process.
PRODUCT
Identify relevant products and CN codes within EUDR scope.
SUPPLIER
Map suppliers and identify the information required from each one.
ORIGIN
Connect products and suppliers with countries and areas of production.
GEOLOCATION
Structure the coordinates or polygons required for production plots.
EVIDENCE
Organise supporting information and documentation for due diligence.
Your suppliers may determine how quickly you can become EUDR-ready.
Product classification can be reviewed internally, but missing supplier information often depends on third parties. Origin, production-plot and geolocation data may require coordination across several layers of the supply chain. Identifying these gaps early gives your company more time to obtain the information it needs.
